Omega BCI- An Accounting Software Company Joins Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry, April 10, 2010.

Omega Business Consulting, Inc. is now officially a member of Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).  MCCI is a voluntary organization of Makati-based business enterprise.  Its primary objective is the sustainable growth of business, industry and community development.

Omega BCI has strengthen its R&D last year thus they just launched their new products for 2010.  "Our transactions are becoming seamless and integrated because of Omega's products", one remittance client said.

Remittance Portal
The safest and quickest way of sending or receiving your money anywhere in the Philippines or in the world with any bank.

  Within a minute your transaction is auto-calculated, validated, duly approved and credited to your designated bank account ready for internet banking.  The application employs Secured Socket Layer (SSL) for security.

Omega Payroll
OBCI's latest version of payroll now converts any timekeeping data for auto processing of payroll up to generation of reports for SSS, Philhealth, HDMF in its individual prescribed format that is ready for online or manual remittance. There will be no more hassle in monitoring: 1. benefits such as sick leave and vacation leave, long services leave, airfare, etc. 2. deductions such as educational, statutory or loans. 3. Overtime, bonus, commission and 13th month pay. The system is capable of direct link to your staff's bank account.  It also caters for unlimited dept, companies, staff and cross section assignments.  All reports are integrated with Omega's General Ledger.

Offline Transaction Writer
An all module writer installed in a remote/branch PC where transaction processes, audit, approval and reporting can be done as a stand alone within the branch offline.  The "sought after module" of the writer is the consolidation process where the day's transactions are uploaded to the head office within seconds for auto-consolidation  and reporting.

Other software products to be launched this year that are in the pipeline are case manager for lawyers, online web 2.0 map directions/instructions and project management software.

Omega Business Consulting recently partnered with Top Networx to launch another product initiative for SMEs.  Top has range of business applications including accounting solutions for customers under a web-based platform and they will offer Omega Financial Suite as their primary accounting solution branded as Top Financial Suite.

Company president Mr. Romeo Garcia wants to create a positive experience and added value service for its business operation that's why they have decided to acquire OBCI's suite products from accounting system, inventory management, point-of-sale and payroll software.

Omega has officially launched its products and services in Mindanao with the signing of Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Mindanao in Davao on May 18 to 22, 2009.  UM's accounting students will now have access to Omega Financial Suite to understand better how theory links with real business environment accounting using the software.  Manny Masangkay and Dennis Hilario conducted the week "Train the Trainers" workshop/seminar with UM's accounting senior lectures/staff and IT department staff.

Sharing Omega's belief and commitment to the young generation, the University of Mindanao granted 5 students as Omega scholars commencing this school  year 2009-2010.  Under the MOA, the UM grants 5 Omega scholars each school year until completion of accounting degree.  The only condition Omega requires to avail of the four-year scholarship is for each scholar to simply maintain an average grade of 80% each semester.
