RCG Group of Companies with banana plantation/distribution and health shop retail with more than 40 outlets nationwide have just signed up with Omega Enterprise Suite. Company president Mr. Romeo Garcia wants to create a positive experience and added value service for its business operation that's why they have decided to acquire OBCI's suite products from accounting system, inventory management, point-of-sale and payroll software.
Mr. Dennis Hilario, General Manager of OBCI Philippines said "We have built a cutting-edge front-end systems that will eliminate their data encoding redundancy thus will produce consolidated and management reports real-time and anywhere."  Implementation has already commenced and seven outlets are now using it live in just a span of one month implementation.  More outlets are to follow on the coming weeks.

Omega has officially launched its products and services in Mindanao with the signing of Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Mindanao in Davao on May 18 to 22, 2009.  UM's accounting students will now have access to Omega Financial Suite to understand better how theory links with real business environment accounting using the software.  Manny Masangkay and Dennis Hilario conducted the week "Train the Trainers" workshop/seminar with UM's accounting senior lectures/staff and IT department staff.

Sharing Omega's belief and commitment to the young generation, the University of Mindanao granted 5 students as Omega scholars commencing this school  year 2009-2010.  Under the MOA, the UM grants 5 Omega scholars each school year until completion of accounting degree.  The only condition Omega requires to avail of the four-year scholarship is for each scholar to simply maintain an average grade of 80% each semester.
